Nana and Papa's

This matching outfit situation was not planned!

Carter made a poopy mess and this was in

diaper bag! Carter was playing with his toes with his Papa!

The ONLY place Mommy lets Carter wear camo is at Nana and Papa's!!!

Carter had a great time at Nana and Papa's playing with the horse and cats! That will be a great playground when he gets a little bit bigger! If he is wearing camo and playing out there we won't be able to find him!!!

Mimi and Poppie's

This is a day of fun at Mimi and Poppies! They bought Carter an exersaucer! He loves it too! He was also suppose to be taking a nap and was playing with his Daddy on the floor! Carter likes to sit on Daddy's shoulders now too! It's a long way up there!

Carter's First Valentine's Day

So when I was growing up my Daddy has never to this day forgotten to get me and Mama Valentine's Day candy! So he and Nana made sure Carter got some chocolate (for Mommy) and two cute little monkeys! Above are pics of him with Nana and his present. There are also some pics of him and his Daddy when he took me out to dinner!

Random moments...

I just wanted to add a few pics of random times over the last few days! Carter loves to sit in his seat and play with toys. In the top pic he is "reading" his baby Einstein book! He is so adorable! The one of him and his Daddy in the store is so cute...everyone stops and talks to him! Then there is of course the after bath pic...which I need to go repeat right now! Love you all!

Family trip to the park...

Most of you know Carter had his first sickness last week. He had a right ear infection, right eye infection, and a viral sinus infection. He was sooo pitiful last week. So when he started feeling better and we had gorgeous weather we all got outside to enjoy some fresh air. Attached are some pics of us at the park. Carter loves to play superman and be lifted into the air these days! There are also some pics of him eating. So far he is a fan of prunes, green peas, apples, and sweet potatoes! He is so much fun again now that he is feeling better! Hope everyone is doing well!

Eating like a big boy!

So today we started cereal and solid foods! Our little man had a big appetite! He ate two servings of cereal with formula and prune juice mixed in. He preferred it a little thicker than water...more like a milkshake. We were supposed to be working up to this, but little piggy didn't like it watery! The goal from the pediatrician was to be eating 2 meals a day of solids by 6 months of age. Well, our first day we supplemented a feeding from the bottle with cereal mixed with prunes. Just goes to show he even got his appetite from his daddy just like everything else! Here are some pics of how clean he was when he finished and the two bowls he ate from!

4 Month Check up

Today Carter went for his 4 month check up. He weighs 12 pounds 14 ounces, is 24.5 inches long and is growing perfect! Dr. Gross said he is just "delicious"! Of course we think so too! He received 4 shots, but was a big boy! He only cried while he was getting them and then I quickly picked him up and the tears were gone! It feels so wonderful to be somebody's "Mama" to make everything "all better"!

Carter started laughing out loud while playing with himself on his gym today! He is so stinkin' cute! We were given the go ahead to start feeding him solids now...so stay tuned for pics of food all over Mama and Daddy I'm sure!
