Tylenol and Teething rings

So Carter had a rough weekend with trying to get his second tooth. It was a Tylenol and teething ring kind of weekend. However today he popped his second tooth through the surface! He feels so much better when it comes through, poor baby! This week he has been all over the house! He can crawl so fast. He has started chasing Diamond around the house and squeeling and laughing! Today I was crawling after him telling him I was going to "get him" and he would just laugh so hard he couldn't crawl! We are having so much fun! Carter took his first steps on his own last Saturday, for a total of 3 in a row! He has been doing that a few times since. He is just not steady enough to let go, he's a little front heavy!!! It's been a while...

I'm so sorry to be waiting almost 2 months before posting another blog. I always feel like I have to have pics to go along with each blog. Since my computer is a pain to upload pics onto the blog I just say I will wait a little longer. Now I am reading his last entry and boy has he grown up so much since May! So I will try to update every week. There just may not be any pics on all of them!

Sooooo, Carter is so busy these days!! Since our last posting Carter now...feeds himself finger foods, stands alone for about 30 seconds, says "mama" and "dada", plays peekaboo, walks everywhere holding onto your fingers, started crawling all over the house, waves bye-bye, got his first tooth, and started pulling up on things!!! Most of these were all in the last week too!

Carter has also been to his first Memorial Day parade, to Tampa to visit family, unfortunately got Roseola, and now has a swing that Daddy and Papa built in the back yard so we don't have to get in the car and drive to the park just to swing outside!!!

Carter also had his 9 month check up on July 1st. He weighed 19lbs. 5.5oz, was 28" long, and Dr. Gros said he "is just perfect"!!!

We are having so much fun as a family of 3! Carter is just such a wonderful blessing and gift! I promise to update more because he is just growing up so fast! We are off to the pool and playdates today!

The Ledwiths

7 months...a month of many "Firsts"!

This month has a been a big month of firsts! Starting from the top pics. Carter sat in a highchair at a restaurant like a big boy! He had a great time being able to look around and not be sitting in the booth in his carseat! Carter also got his first haircut! He did so great! He drove the police car and did not even move when she used the clippers around his ears! He did not like her using them on the back of his neck though! We are so proud of him! Continuing on with "firsts", Carter sat in a big boy swing at the park while Mom and Dad pushed him back and forth and he loved it! Afterward he and his Daddy went down the slide! Carter also had his first beach trip to Destin Florida! He put his feet in the sand and ocean! He enjoyed watching the waves crash! The last picture is the first time he was in his swimsuit and sat in a kiddie pool! He had a great time! Our boy is currently trying to cut teeth! Hopefully we will be able to post pics of his front teeth soon! I promise I will try to be better at posting all of the exciting things going on in the Ledwith house more promptly! Especially since our boy is growing so fast! Love to everyone!

Carter's First Easter!

Carter had a wonderful first Easter. He got a wonderful basket with a bunny and clothes from Aunt Saundra! He got to spend the night with Nana and Papa on Friday night! He even got to play in Papa's boat! Then he attended his first egg hunt at the Antweiler's. Notice I said "attended". Ofcourse he couldn't walk around and collect eggs so he just sat around with his Daddy looking cute! They are both really good at that! He went to church with Mimi and Poppie on Sunday and then we had a great lunch! Carter got a singing and dancing bunny from Mimi and Poppie! It was so wonderful to have an Easter with our own little bunny! We hope everyone had a great Easter too!

6 Month pics!

Carter had his 6 month appt last week! I can't believe he is already 6 months. Time is flying by so fast! He is such a big boy! He is holding his own bottle when he eats now! He is rolling over both ways, sitting up all by himself, and started reaching out to be picked up this morning in his crib! His sleeping habits have much improved over the last week as well! He weighed 16 pounds 10 ounces at his appt. He is finally in the 30th percentile! The doctor said he is just "yummy"! So we are now starting to drink our juice from a sippy cup and started stage 2 foods! He'll be driving next week at this rate!

Sitting up...such a big boy!

Above are pictures of Carter sitting up unassisted for the very first time last Monday! He loves his new trick and likes to try it everyday. He does not like to lay down anymore unless he is trying to roll over! He is growing up soooo fast! The last picture is the boys in front of the fish tank at Bass Pro Shop with Papa, wearing his first hat!!!

Another day at the park...

Because we have Spring Fever soooo bad, any pretty day, we are out with the boy!!! This was a quiet Monday, so we had most of the place to ourselves! Carter loved being in his new big boy stroller! He was looking around at everything including the ducks! He liked watching all of the big boys and girls ride their bikes and scooters! We layed a blanket out and just watched the clouds roll by for a while!

sweating and was soooo ready to go back inside and take a nap!

Nana and Papa's

The ONLY place Mommy lets Carter wear camo is at Nana and Papa's!!!

Carter had a great time at Nana and Papa's playing with the horse and cats! That will be a great playground when he gets a little bit bigger! If he is wearing camo and playing out there we won't be able to find him!!!

Mimi and Poppie's

This is a day of fun at Mimi and Poppies! They bought Carter an exersaucer! He loves it too! He was also suppose to be taking a nap and was playing with his Daddy on the floor! Carter likes to sit on Daddy's shoulders now too! It's a long way up there!

Carter's First Valentine's Day

So when I was growing up my Daddy has never to this day forgotten to get me and Mama Valentine's Day candy! So he and Nana made sure Carter got some chocolate (for Mommy) and two cute little monkeys! Above are pics of him with Nana and his present. There are also some pics of him and his Daddy when he took me out to dinner!

Random moments...

I just wanted to add a few pics of random times over the last few days! Carter loves to sit in his seat and play with toys. In the top pic he is "reading" his baby Einstein book! He is so adorable! The one of him and his Daddy in the store is so cute...everyone stops and talks to him! Then there is of course the after bath pic...which I need to go repeat right now! Love you all!
